Lida Schoen (Netherlands)
Educational Consultant; Science Across the World
Dr. Lida Schoen graduated as a chemist at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). She worked as a teacher trainer and during the last 12 years as an educational consultant, mainly for international projects. She is a team member and trainer of the Science Across the World programme and titular member of the Committee on Chemistry Education (CCE) of the International Union of Pure & Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) Her main interest is communicating about science: public understanding.
Schoen was already involved in many Comenius 2.2 courses, gained experience in Comenius school partnerships and now chairs the Young Ambassadors for Chemistry (YAC) project in transient countries (already stops in Taiwan, Argentina, Siberia, Korea, and in the near future in South Africa and Mauritius), together with Keith Kelly.Find "Lida Schoen" on Google
